The images and information on the Yakima Memory website is intended as a research tool, providing easier access to the photographic collections at the Yakima Valley Museum and the Yakima Valley Libraries. The images and information provided by this website may not be used or reproduced or used in any form without permission from the appropriate facility.

The Yakima Valley Libraries and the Yakima Valley Museum are not responsible for the improper or illegal use of any copies of materials from their collections. It is the user's responsibility to guard against the infringement of rights that may be held by others and for clearing reproduction rights and copyright restrictions. The Yakima Valley Libraries and the Yakima Valley Museum do not claim to control the copyright for all images in their collections. The Yakima Valley Museum and Yakima Valley Regional Library welcome input from users of this database in helping to identify each image.

Ordering Copies of Photographs
Commercial-quality and high quality scanned images, are available for purchase as allowed under copyright and rights restrictions. Please review the Order Reproductions section of the website for further information. Images used for publication must carry the appropriate credit supplied with the completed order. Fees will be charged for the use of the images in our collections, and your fees help support the ongoing work of the Yakima Memory Project.

The Yakima Valley Museum is a private 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
